This book is about
there is an old lady called Mrs Weston and there is this cat that just loves her to pieces and you weren't aloud animals in her street so the cat came and lived with her and one day someone rang the council and he said she can stay there with one animal and I forgot to say but the cat had seven kittens and the council said she could stay there with the cat or go to a flat with the cat.

This book is about
When Kirandip notices a cat in Mrs. Weston's front window, she asks her about it. (Mrs. Weston's landlord does not allow her to keep cats in the house). They keep it a secret. The cat is about to have kittens.
When the kittens have been born, they are a bit of a nuisance because they run about and make a mess.
The cats cause Mrs. Weston to fall and so Kirandip has to tell her Mum about the cats and kittens.
The landlord changes his rules and allows Mrs. Weston to keep one cat. The kittens are offered to good homes.
The main characters are
Kirandip, Mrs. Weston and the cats.

There were 7 kittens in the book - 2 ginger toms, 3 tortoise shells and 2 grey and brown striped ones.
