This book is about
Gran comes to stay. She brings the children presents. Kipper went on an adventure where everything was grey like an old photograph. When he came back he was grey. The children and Gran made sure Mum and Dad didn't find out. Mum called the doctor because she thought Kipper was ill. The key glowed because Kipper said sorry. He got his colour back. Kipper didn't go to the doctor and Mum and Dad didn't find out about the key.

The main characters are
Biff, Chip, Kipper, Gran, Mum and Dad.

My favourite part of the book is
When Kipper comes back and is grey like an old photograph.
