This book is about
Hal's mother woke him up because there was a flood, so they had to go outside and get to the rescue boats.
Hal went back into the flat to get his lucky, green dragon. He heard Lina crying from next door. She was visiting Mrs. Delmar, her grandmother. Mrs. Delmar had been already rescued, but no-one knew that Lina was there visiting.
Hal rescued Lina by using the fire escape and getting Lina to climb out of the window. They went up a ladder onto the roof and the police came to rescue them in a helicopter.

My favourite part of the book is
When Hal and Lina are rescued by the police helicopter.
