This book is about
The book is about a country called Vanuatu in the Pacific Ocean. Amy has gone there for a visit.
In Vanuatu, there are fish that make coral reefs, flowers and markets.
Amy walked on stilts and played volleyball on the beach.
The people dress up in banana-leaf costumes and paint their faces for the Rom Dance Festival. They also dance all night.

Finding out that the island was made from underwater volcanoes.

Learning about the Language on page 16. I learnt to say some words in Bislama; My name is - Nem blong me is my favourite phrase. I also liked the land diving on page 12.

The banana-leaf costumes look funny. The masks are amazing! I like the masks they wear because they are huge! I gave the book 5 stars because it was amazing, I found out about a new country to me!
