This book is about
One day Shelley is bored and decides she wants to be a detective. She asks her friend, Kelly, to be her trusty assistant. They discover that the dogs and fish that are near or in the canal are getting ill.
They show the vet a dead fish and ask if she can help to investigate what is making the animals ill.
Dustbin (Shelley's dog) finds a pipe in the canal that is polluting the water. They find that the pollution is coming from a factory.
The main characters are
Shelley, Dustbin and Kelly.
My favourite part of the book is
When the vet says, Even I can't cure a dead fish.
