This book is about
Ria and her family are on a safari adventure. They see lions, hippos, rhinos, giraffes and meerkats. Ria is scared of the animals. Her brother, Marco, tries to scare her and teases her. Later, they make a campfire and have an African barbecue for dinner. Then they go to their tent. In the night, there are lots of noises. Marco screeches and Ria turns on her torch. There is a rat in the tent, because Marco had left his apple core on the floor of the tent. Ria bravely shooed the rat out of the tent.
