This book is about
There is a Captain called Captain Blood in a painting and he comes alive with his parrot, Hector. A boy sees Captain Blood and helps him to find his treasure because Professor Grimsdale wants to take the treasure to become rich.
Hector helps Captain Blood and the boy to find where the treasure is buried, just before Professor Grimsdale and some other men arrive. There is a fight and Captain Blood wins.
When the treasure chest is opened it is empty. The treasure is on a ship with Captain Blood´s shipmates. Captain Blood and Hector return to sea with them.
Professor Grimsdale decides to write a book about Captain Blood.
The main characters are
Captain Blood, Hector the parrot , the boy and Professor Grimsdale.
My favourite part of the book is
When they find that the treasure chest is empty.
