After their mother died no one knew which was which, mostly because they were always pretending they were each other. When their father was old he called them to his chamber and asked them to tell him their true names. Their true names were Salman Raman and Enir. After they told him their true and rightful names the sultan told them to go find themselves a wife to marry. At last when they found a princess that they liked they fell in love with her at once. There are three princes that look identical. They go off to find a princess to marry. The three princes meet a lovely princess (Halima). They all fall in love with her and she falls in love with one of them, but cannot work out which one she is in love with. Her father, the king, sends the princes to find something magical for his daughter. Raman buys a mirror from an old man; Salman buys a magic carpet and Emir swaps his ring for an orange. Raman and Salman think that Emir's orange is useless and that one of their gifts will be chosen by the princess, who will then chose one of them to marry. Princess Halima becomes ill and Raman uses his mirror to find this out. Salman uses his magic carpet to travel to Princess Halima.
