This book is about
The Scout and Cowboy went fishing for a trout. They caught one! It spat out the hook and asked them not to cook him in oil as he couldn't stand the heat. So they ate oysters instead.

The Scout, the Cowboy and Trout.
My favourite part of the book is
The very last bit - when they didn't eat the trout.
