This book is about
Last year, Tig wore a tiger costume with spots on for Book Day. Katy and Kevin were quick to notice that tigers do not have spots.
This year, his mother said he had to dress as Little Boy Blue costume and wear a frilly blue shirt and velvet trousers with a straw hat. He did not like this idea so on Book Day he went behind next door's hedge to change into his football kit, but a dog came and scared him away. He ran through the compost heap, over a strawberry path, through the garden pond and then arrived in the school playground wearing only his UNDERPANTS and weeds, mud, grass cuttings and straw.
Tig thought he would be in deep trouble, but Miss Simmons said he looked like Stig off the Dump (her favourite book character). Tig got a box of chocolates as a prize.
The main characters are
Tig and Miss Simmons.
My favourite part of the book is
When Tig arrives at school in his underpants covered in grass cuttings, straw, mud and twigs.
I would also like to say
Tig also looked worn out when he arrived at the school playground.

When Tig wins the prize and when he is running to school it was so funny. Tig is very clever changing behind the bush.
