Here at Reading Chest, this celebration is close to our hearts. We house some amazing reading scheme books about the women of the past, written by the women of today, to inspire the next generation of young readers.
Shining a Light on Women in History
One of our team members, Jess, has returned to university to study history, with a particular focus on women in history. She’s passionate about the growing awareness of individual women’s stories and the need for greater representation. Jess is especially proud of the selection of non-fiction children’s books we offer and always enjoys sending them out to our members.
