Rating:

This book is about
Ant is bored on a walk so goes on an adventure and makes himself small so he can go inside a log and look at lots of bugs.

The main characters are
Ant and a really big stag beetle.

My favourite part of the book is
Ant making himself go small and then big again.

I would also like to say
The big spider was really scary.

Rating:

This book is about
Ant got bored when he was out on a walk. He spotted a hollow log and shrunk to go inside. The log was full of surprises!

The main characters are
Ant, Ant's dad and a stag beetle.

My favourite part of the book is
When Ant is running away from the Stag Beetle! He looks so scared.

I would also like to say
It reminds me of when I go on a mini-beast hunt (well, apart from shrinking small).
