What's the book about?

Meg and her mum set off to the market with their gentle donkey, hoping for a fun day out. Along the way, lots of different people tell them what they should do, which makes their trip quite muddled and a bit silly. By the end of the journey, they discover that it’s best to think for themselves instead of trying to please everyone else.
