This book is about
This book tells you about how injuries were repaired in Victorian times and how they are repaired in modern times. In Victorian times, doctors did not know how to stitch wounds or how to keep surgical tools clean. In modern times, we have antibiotics to kill bacteria; hand-washing to prevent the spread of infections; antiseptics to keep hospitals clean and sutures to stitch wounds.
