Goal

Practise letter-sounds through a space-themed reward system — short, daily streaks beat long, infrequent sessions every time.

How to do it

Pick a small set of space flashcards to work with — enough for a two or three minute session. Go through them together. Each sound or word your child reads correctly gets a star on the chart.

Aim for a short streak: three days running is a great first target. Put the chart somewhere visible — on the fridge or bedroom wall — so the progress is always there to see.

Keep sessions short and upbeat. The goal is to finish feeling good, not worn out. A small win every day adds up to a lot of reading by the end of the week.
