Goal
Build vocabulary, sequencing and imagination — using transport words as creative constraints that actually make the story more interesting.

How to do it
Spread out the transport flashcards. Your child picks three — train, boat, rocket, bus, whatever takes their fancy. Challenge: invent a story that includes all three.
Where does the character go? What happens? How do they get from the train to the boat, and why do they end up on a rocket? Let the story go wherever it wants. You can take turns adding to it if you like.
Read the transport words together as you use them. You can scribe the story if they want a written version to keep. The constraint of having to use all three cards is surprisingly generative — it forces decisions that make the story go somewhere unexpected.
