What's the book about?
Dani is a young scientist who discovers that the brilliant Dr X is actually planning something evil. Trapped inside his secret base, she has to use her clever gadgets and quick thinking to escape and send a warning to a group of children. Together, they must find a way to stop Dr X and his dangerous robots before it’s too late.

This book is about
Dani is a scientist at NICE. One day Dr. X tells her about his secret team in NASTI and what they are doing. He gives her a job in his team to make sure that the X machine watches are working. The job is a trap because Dr. X locks her in the room.
Dani puts the watches into the rubbish pipe and they are found by four children. Dani hides in the air vent and watches Dr. X.
Dani finds the X Pod and goes to see the children. She tells them about Dr. X, then she returns to NASTI to spy on Dr. X.
