The book is about poems about a little boy and what happens in his day. Some of the poems are about breakfast in bed, what to do today and about his dog, Fred. There is also a poem about growing a truck in the garden.

Little boy, Fred the dog, Mum and Dad.

My favourite part of the book is
When the smoke alarm goes of when the boy is making his mother breakfast in bed.

It would have been better if I knew the little boy's name.
