What's the book about?
A boy is excited when his mum brings home a new pet chameleon, and he just can’t wait to let it out of its cage. But the clever little lizard quickly disappears, and he discovers how hard it is to spot an animal that can change its colour. As he searches high and low, he learns to look carefully and pay attention to every tiny detail around him.

This book is about
Jamie's Mum works at the zoo and she brings the lizard home to show him. He thinks it looks boring in the cage so he lets it out. It runs everywhere and changes colour. He cannot see it or catch it.

My favourite part of the book is
The last page, because you can learn lots of facts about chameleons and why they change colour
