Racing CD Rocket
What's the book about?
It’s Science Week at school, and Josh is building a special race car from old CDs, rubber bands, and other bits and pieces. At first his clever car doesn’t work very well, so he has to experiment and fix the wheels to make it go faster. In the big race at school, Josh’s creation zooms along the track and shows how fun it can be to use your imagination and not give up.

This book is about
Josh makes a CD rocket car for Science Week. The CD rocket car does not work well on the school hall floor because the floor is slippery.
Josh puts some popped balloon onto the CD wheels and they work better.
At school there is a racing day and Josh's car comes joint first.
The main characters are
Josh, Mr. Lew and Josh's Mum and Dad.
My favourite part of the book is
The race when Josh's car comes joint first with Danny's car.
I would also like to say
Danny's car was called The Beast.
