What's the book about?

A very neat and tidy family get a big surprise when a scruffy pirate turns up in their garden with a poorly parrot. They invite the pirate and his feathered friend to stay so they can help make the parrot feel better. As they work together, the family slowly forget about keeping everything perfect and start having exciting pirate-style fun instead.
