This book is about
Kenji was teaching the children Aikido. Kenji said, Use your opponent's attack to your advantage. The magic key began to glow. Kipper went on an adventure to Japan. He met some Samurai. He remembered what Kenji had said and pushed the boy to the ground. Mr. Takeda took Kipper to meet Shogun. Shogun made Kipper train to become a Samurai. Kipper had to carry a large rock and race another boy. He felt miserable. The magic key began to glow and Kipper went back home.

The main characters are
Kipper, Kenji, Samurai and Mr. Takeda and Shogun.

My favourite part of the book is
Finding out about aikido.
