What's the book about?
On a rainy day when three children are feeling really bored, a spaceship suddenly lands in their back garden and a strange alien called Vingor steps out. He challenges them to lots of different games and gets very cross when he keeps on losing. Things get even crazier when they travel to his spaceship to try one of his own planet’s games, and the children have to be brave and clever to stop his “zapper” and send him back home.

This book is about
There are some children called Kate, Miles and Jack who are playing games indoors on a rainy day. Suddenly, an alien appears named Vingor. He challenges them to win a game or he will zap them.
The children play a racing car game and table football with Vingor. Vingor does not win the games and he he thinks these games are rubbish. He suggests playing a game from his planet which is like hide and seek and that they play it on a spaceship. Vingor finds Jack and is going to zap him, but Jack's sister, Kate walks in. She snatches the zapper and finds out that the zapper shoots goo out only.
Another alien, Plonga, appears and takes Vingor home.

Vingor, Kate, Jack and Miles.
My favourite part of the book is
When the spaceship appears in the children's back garden.
I would also like to say
I also liked when Vingor got goo on him from the zapper.
