What's the book about?
Max, Cat, Ant and Tiger have been captured by robot helpers called X-bots and taken to a secret base where a wicked scientist is getting ready to carry out his biggest evil plan yet. Using the kids’ special watches, he wants to power a strange machine that can shrink famous places all around the world. The friends, along with clever scientist Dani, must find a way to escape, get their watches back, and stop the plan before it’s too late.

In the book The X-machine , the group of four friends are finally captured by doctor x. When they arrive at NASTI HQ they see the evil mastermind himself ... doctor X!

My favourite part of the story is at the end because its a happy ending.

This book is about
The X bots capture Max, Ant, Cat and Tiger when they are star gazing. They are sent to NASTI where Dr. X is waiting to take their watches. He uses them in his X Machine to shrink landmarks.
The children are sent to a cell, but they escape with the help of Dani the scientist. They get their watches back and make the landmarks bigger again.
Dr. X is sent to jail.
