Feeling the love?

I love Reading Chest because the books are sent to my house. I love reading books and my reading is getting better. I love ripping the envelope open and doing book reviews with mummy. I love seeing my book reviews on the website and I love love love being star of the week with my sister.

Since joining the scheme in the summer my 6 year old has made fantastic progress. His school have them in groups for reading so he can only move up when the group does being able to move on at his own pace on this scheme has been of huge benefit to him. He is reading at a much higher level than if he’d just had school books and his enthusiasm for reading is growing and growing. My 3 year old also loves getting books in an envelope with her name on and is enjoying taking her first steps into reading. Even my reluctant 7 year old reads much better with the books that come from you especially as he gets far more non-fiction than he could from school. I will be recommending you to all my friends.

I would just like to say as a newcomer that my two girls love Reading Chest they have returned their first batch of books and can’t wait for more to arrive in the post. They love the sticker chart and especially love typing book reviews. They are so excited that something they have typed will hopefully appear on the internet.

My little boy is really enjoying the reading scheme and getting his own postalthough I have been woken up at 5.30am to have a book read to me… just to get another star on that chart… apart from that I cannot recommend your services enough. Many thanks again.

Fantastic idea!! I wish I had found out about the Reading Chest a lot earlier would have saved me a lot of money buying new books. My son loves receiving new books through the post and loves the variety of books that he receives. Kaya especially likes finishing a book and putting on the stickers. Fantastic idea and I highly recommend!

What a terrific idea! We got our first delivery yesterday and the books and stickers were a great success with my 5-year old reluctant reader! I wonder if you are planning to add more schemes – Oxford Songbirds would be great for example. Also would be nice to be able to prioritize the schemes or even the books within the schemes – just a suggestion 🙂

An excellent and innovative service. I have been really impressed by the speed of book delivery and the wide variety of reading material available.

The Reading Chest service has been fantastic in allowing my son to receive books he doesn’t have access to at school and his reading has really improved in just a couple of months. Great customer service too!

I think that Reading Chest is a brilliant idea and my son has benefited a lot from reading each day in the summer holidays. One suggestion – it would be really useful to be able to download a list of the books he has read between certain dates so that I can let his school know which books he has read over the holidays. Although both my children enjoy looking at books and being read to they are reluctant readers and easily turned off by books at too hard a reading level. Having spent several hours in libraries trying unsuccessfully to find suitable books I was delighted to discover Reading Chest.

The Reading Chest is such a clever idea 😉 my son is really enjoying receiving the books specially addressed to him and it’s a great motivating factor for finishing the next set! We use and love the chart and stickers- thank you!

What a good idea I think Reading Chest is it’s great to keep up my son’s reading especially over the 8wks holiday and with books that are within his school’s reading scheme. Having been a teacher for years I have seen the difference it makes to keep up the reading practice and I will definitely spread the word to the other mums.

We think the concept is absolutely brilliant and my 5 year old just loves getting his new books in the post!

What a fantastic resource this is!! My daughter has been a reluctant reader with school books but is so excited about her Reading Chest books she loves that she gets to stick a gold star on the chart when she reads a book and that she gets her very own envelope through the door with her name on!! Can’t wait to see her face when she gets a certificate!! We can’t get these books from the library so this is a great way to keep her reading through the school hols thank you!!

It really is a great service – Ryan’s reading has really improved and his confidence has grown since he started it. It’s such a super idea as the children are reading books which they are familiar with at school. Thanks so much!

Hugo is really motivated with his reward chart. I’m glad I joined Reading Chest. It is nice he can have different types of books at his level through the post. It is always a bit exciting when we open the envelope.

I have signed up and got our first delivery of books yesterday much to the delight of my son. I just wanted to let you know I think this is a great idea! It is impossible to find books like this in the library and we only have one book at a time from the school and so when we have time to sit and read a few together – we don’t have any. So I think this is great and have told lots of friends too!

I have been telling everyone about this website! My son is so much keener to read because the books come addressed to him and they don’t all involve Biff and Kipper! His reading has very clearly improved in a really short space of time. Lovely friendly service when we were accidently debited twice (not the company’s fault but on it straight away and very apologetic) Thank you.

Hi we received our first packs this morning and they are great thanks. It’s a great idea.

Felix was so chuffed last night to receive his pack he loved the bag the sticker chart and best of all was so excited by the oxford tree reading book about Wizard of Oz he sat in the evening and read it without any prompting – it is the next level up from what he is reading at school and he was so excited to be able to read it. Just thought you should hear what a fab product you have!

I just bought a Reading Chest gift voucher for my niece as a last minute birthday present. What a fantastic idea! She loves the stickers and bag.

What a fantastic help! Alfie loves choosing non-fiction books as there don’t seem to be many of these at his school. The reward chart is also a great boost.

My children are taught from home and I have previously really struggled to find books at the right reading level. Your website is so helpful and is making my life easier already.
