This book is about
The book is all about how the prisoners try to escape from Colditz Castle, where they were taken during World War II. Some tried to dress as German guards, one made a glider and another tried to hide in a box and escape from the attic. Unfortunately, they did not all successfully escape. Eventually the Americans came to free them.

The main characters are
The prisoners from Colditz.

My favourite part of the book is
Finding out how Airey Neave escaped disguised as a German officer and Pat Reid escaped disguised as a civilian.

I would also like to say
This is one of the best books I have read from Reading Chest. It was very interesting and informative.
