This book is about
Flash Harriet gets a letter from Barnaby Fuddle because his ostrich eggs are going missing and he will have to sell the farm back to the bank.
Flash Harriet goes to Fuddle Farm and meets Greta Gloop, who makes the Ostrich Delight custard using Barnaby Fuddle's ostrich eggs. Together they decide to find who has been stealing the eggs.
They go to the farm at night and check who the thieves are, but see nobody except for a man with a shark face taking photos of the field.
The next day, Flash Harriet sees a poster with the face of the same man. He is Colin Grabbit, the property developer.
Flash Harriet has a cunning plan and with Greta they dress as ostriches and go to the farm. They catch Colin and Nigel Grabbit, who are also dressed as ostriches and are the thieves.
The main characters are
Flash Harriet, the ostriches, Barnaby Fuddle, Greta Gloop, Colin and Nigel Grabbit.
My favourite part of the book is
When the Grabbit twins are taken away in the police van and blame each other for stealing the ostrich eggs.

This book is about
Flash Harriet (a detective) is sent a letter from Barnaby Fuddle to say that his ostrich eggs from his farm are going missing.
Flash Harriet meets Greta Gloop and they look for clues. They find that at night the eggs go missing, but there is no-one there to steal them.
Flash Harriet sees a poster of Colin Grabbit and she goes to visit him. She finds out that he buys property and wants the farm.
Her Uncle Proudlock (the best detective in the world) sends Flash Harriet a message to say that the thieves might be dressing up like an ostrich. He is right!
Colin's twin brother, Nigel Grabbit, is the bank manager who wants his money back from Barnaby Fuddle. Colin and Nigel are both dressing up as ostriches and stealing the eggs at night.
Greta and Harriet dress up as ostriches and catch the thieves.

My favourite part of the book is
When the shark-faced twins are taken away by the police.

There are at least eight clues as to who is stealing the ostrich eggs.
