Green Island
What's the book about?
A class goes on a trip by the sea, where they discover a seagull covered in messy oil and learn how people can harm sea creatures without meaning to. Later, they visit a little island and uncover a secret cave where dangerous waste is being dumped. Working together with their teachers and some helpful adults, the children act bravely to protect the animals and help the police stop the polluters.

This book is about
The children go for a school trip to Seabay House for a week.
During the trip, the children find a seagull that is covered with oil and can't fly. They meet Mrs. Honey, who tries to clean the seagull.
Mr. Honey takes the teachers and the class to Green Island to see the otters. The children find a cave with toxic waste hidden in it. Then they see people bringing more toxic waste to the cave.
The children and adults go to their boat and take the other people's boat too. They call the police, who take the people away.
At the end of the week, there is a party and a photographer takes a photo of the class for the newspaper.
The main characters are
Mr. Johnson, Mrs. May, Mrs. Honey, Biff, Chip, Wilf, Wilma and Nadim.
