Green Planet Kids
What's the book about?
Wilf and Wilma love helping nature, so they set out with their family to tidy up a wood that’s full of rubbish. As they pick up cans, bottles and junk, they spot how the mess is hurting the animals and plants. Together they show how everyone can join in, recycle, and turn a dirty place into a clean, happy home for wildlife.

This book is about
The children try to clean the forest of all the rubbish that people have left there.
The main characters are
Wilf, Wilma and their parents
My favourite part of the book is
When they build a recycled robot at the end.
I would also like to say
It is an engaging topic and it is nice to show what damage various materials can do to the environment, as my son saw with some forest animals who were struggling by oil drums, plastic bottles etc. Nice read, good for object spotting and new words, and a good subject matter that is popular in school now.

On page 3 the children's t-shirts have a green and blue planet on, but on all the other pages the t-shirts have green planets on. I found this very interesting.
