Daniel really wants a real, fluffy dog, so he’s upset when he wakes up on his birthday and finds a shiny metal robot dog by his bed instead. At first, he thinks a robot pet could never be as good as the real thing. But when the little metal dog tries its hardest to act like a real dog, Daniel starts to see that a true friend can come in a very surprising package.
