What's the Book About?
A man who works in a scrapyard decides to build a special metal friend, but the new helper isn’t given a very good brain and doesn’t really know who he is. Together they set out to discover what he can do and who he might be, causing plenty of funny mix-ups along the way. This story is full of tinkering, imagination, and finding out that everyone can be useful in their own way.

This book is about
Winston makes Scrapman out of old parts from different machines. One night, Scrapman walks down the street and looks into a window where he sees a girl called Emma. Emma teaches Scrapman how to talk properly.
The main characters are
Scrapman, Winston and Emma.
My favourite part of the book is
When Winston makes the brain for Scrapman.
I would also like to say
Scrapman says Odd ear instead of Oh dear. He also says Hoo ham I? instead of Who am I?.
