What's the book about?

Ria and her family are on a safari. At night, Marco tries to scare Ria but in the end, Ria is a brave girl and it is Marco who gets scared of a rat.

The main characters are
Marco, Ria, Mum, Dad and Fiona.

My favourite part of the book is
When Ria was a hero by getting the rat out of the tent.

I would also like to say
That I would like to be like Ria and be a brave hero.

Ria and her family are on a safari adventure. They see lions, hippos, rhinos, giraffes and meerkats. Ria is scared of the animals. Her brother, Marco, tries to scare her and teases her. Later, they make a campfire and have an African barbecue for dinner. Then they go to their tent. In the night, there are lots of noises. Marco screeches and Ria turns on her torch. There is a rat in the tent, because Marco had left his apple core on the floor of the tent. Ria bravely shooed the rat out of the tent.

My favourite part of the book is
When Marco is scared of the rat.

I would also like to say
Ria was very brave to get rid of the rat.
