This book is about
Cole has to rescue his Uncle Finn from King Cormac's castle. The King asks Cole to get a pair of all the animals from Ireland for him and then he will free his Uncle. Cole collects all the animals by running (with his magical feet) to the mountains, the forests, the moors, the lough and the beaches to find them. He takes them to the castle, but the guards tell him to come back at sunrise. He takes the animals to the house of nine doors. The house of nine doors has nine doors that do not lock, so the animals escape and Cole has to run after them and catch them again. He puts them back into the house and puts rocks and boulders against the doors to stop them from getting out. In the morning, he takes the animals to the King's castle. The King frees the Uncle. Before Cole leaves the castle, he tells the foxes that once he has left the castle with his Uncle, the animals can also leave and they do so.

The main characters are
Cole and the animals.

My favourite part of the book is
When the animals leave the castle.

I would also like to say
Cole's character was strong, thoughtful, quick, clever and he never complained or gave up.
