Jed and Ava go exploring in some mysterious caves and stumble across a secret world filled with funny little creatures called Knockits. They make new friends, including a Knockit named Digby with wild red spiky hair, and share lots of surprises together underground. My favourite part of the book is
When Digby blushed when Ava complimented him in his red wild spiky hair.
