What's the book about?

A tiny egg rolls away from its nest and goes on a little adventure through the world outside. As it bumps and wobbles along, it meets new sights and sounds, and something inside begins to crack. By the end of the story, a fluffy new friend appears, showing how a small egg can change in an exciting way.

This book is about
When the egg started to crack it rolled away. It went through a hole then a rabbit came. The egg went shooting up. It started to crack more. The owl picked it up and dropped it onto the dog. Then it went back in the shed and the mother cuddled it.

The main characters are
The mummy, the baby in the egg, the owl' the dog and the rabbits.

My favourite part of the book is
When it went shooting up in the sky and when it was hopping on one leg.
