Miss Pumpkin tells him to learn how to do things for himself. He needs to learn to get dressed, wash and iron, clean, cook and shop. Miss Pumpkin sends her servant, Sam, to teach him how to do work.

Prince Percy, Miss Pumpkin and Sam.

My favourite part of the book is
When the servant cannot understand Prince Percy's shopping list.

When Sam, who had spent time with Prince Percy said, get me out of here!

Prince Percy wants to really get out of the palace. He writes lots of messages to Miss Pumpkin because she helped Cinderella once. He wants her to help him too. In the end, Miss Pumpkin sends her helper, Sam, to teach Prince Percy how to work, so that he can go out into the big, wide world on his own. Prince Percy does not get the work right. Sam wants Miss Pumpkin to rescue him from the palace, but she does not.

The main characters are
Miss Pumpkin, Prince Percy and Sam.

My favourite part of the book is
When Sam gets worn out by Prince Percy.
