What's the book about?
A pirate captain really wants to win a special prize, but he doesn’t have enough gold to enter the big competition. When he tries to capture a ship, he meets a clever scientist and a very rare bird, and they all end up on an exciting trip to a grand science show in London. Along the way, the pirate has to decide what matters more to him: treasure, trophies, or doing the right thing.

This book is about
In this book, the Pirate Captain wanted to be 'Pirate of the Year', but he couldn't because he did not have much gold.
He goes to plunder a ship that belongs to a scientist, but the scientist does not have any gold.
The scientist takes the Pirate Captain to London to the Royal Society where they present Polly, the ship's bird, who is the last known dodo. They get a prize which is a small, gold cup and some science books. The Pirate Captain thought the prize would be gold.
The Queen wants the dodo for her zoo and the Pirate Captain lets her have it in return for some gold, so that he can enter the 'Pirate of the Year' competition.

The Pirate Captain, the pirates, the scientist and the Queen.
