This book is about
The children go to the School Pirate Fair. There is a prize for the best pirate costume.
Long John Lucy thinks that she is a pretty pirate and will win the prize.
The children go to play 'Hook a Ship', but Long John Lucy pushes passed them to play. The children use the dials on their watches to become small. They then clamber into one of the ships and stop Long John Lucy from hooking it.
At the end, the children win the best dressed pirate contest because they have got dirty like real pirates.

Cat, Ant, Tiger, Max, Mrs. Mills and Long John Lucy.
My favourite part of the book is
When Cat gets an idea about how to get off the ship.
