What's the book about?
This story follows a brave boy who faces magical challenges, including hunting for a shining Firebird that keeps stealing apples from his family’s garden. Along the way he meets helpful, mysterious creatures who show him that being kind and honest matters more than being rich or powerful. Later, he must build a fantastic flying ship and complete tricky tasks set by a tsar so he can win the heart of the tsar’s clever daughter, learning even more about courage and doing what’s right.

This book is about
In the first story, there is a Firebird that keeps stealing apples from Erik's garden.
Erik and his brothers search for the Firebird. On the way, Erik meets a grey wolf who tells him where to go to find the Firebird.
In the second story, Erik is sent to make a flying ship if he wants to marry Elena, the Tsar's daughter. A strange man helps him to do this.
He is set some challenges by the Tsar and completes them successfully, so he gets to marry Elena.
The main characters are
Erik.
My favourite part of the book is
Seeing what the Firebird looked like. It was an amazing sight!

There are two stories in this book. One is called, Erik and the Firebird and the other is Erik and the Flying Ship.
