What's the book about?
Ray is the new boss of Smalltown Football Club, and he comes to give the team a big pep talk at half-time. He’s confused when he finds all the players drinking tea in the showers instead of getting ready for the match. Then he meets Hilda the tea lady, and discovers that with her help this strange team might just have a real chance to win.

This book is about
The Smalltown F.C. players were washing their tea away in the showers, because they did not like it, but were terrified of Hilda the tea lady finding out.
Ray the new boss went to tell Hilda that the team did not like her tea and she put the tea urn over his head.
Nick the goalkeeper fell over and injured his leg. Hilda insisted on being the replacement goalkeeper.
At the match, Hilda scored the winning goal. Everyone cheered!
At the end, Nick came back to play football and Hilda got to be in charge of the new tea machine and did not have to make tea again.
The main characters are
Hilda, Nick and Ray.
My favourite part of the book is
When Hilda put the tea urn over Ray's head.
