This book is about
The book is about Gemma and her best friend.
One day the best friend brings a machine called a lie detector to school, because she wants to know if Gemma is telling lies or not about whether she has the things she says she has at home, like a video, TV and new clothes.
The lie detector says that Gemma is telling lies. Gemma wanted to be like her friend and have the same things that she had, such as new boots and clothes. The friend boasted about the things that she had and Gemma wanted to have them too so she told some lies.
The main characters are
Gemma and her friend.
My favourite part of the book is
The lie detector and finding out how it will respond.

The friend shouldn't have boasted about the things she owned.

This book is about
There is this awesome lie detector which causes lots of trouble. The lie detector didn't work. What I think is that Madame Mara Viola D' Amora' is a rude liar.
The main characters are
I forgot, I read this book in year 3, but Madame Mara Viola D' Amora is one.
My favourite part of the book is
When I find out that the lie detector is not even working. It built up suspense and made me eagerly go onto the next page even though I wanted to think about it for a moment.

Thanks, author for creating this book. It will give a lesson to a cheeky and mischievous liar, not to lie as it will cause a huge amount of trouble.You'll be ending up in a cellar or granted for a month or even more than that!
