Jack really, really wants a dog of his own, but his parents always say no, so he reads about his favourite brave dog in a comic instead. One day he says a special word and the comic dog suddenly pops into real life, ready to zoom around and help. Together they race to do heroic things, like helping children in trouble and saving grown‑ups when things go wrong, before the magical dog disappears again.

The dog is a hero and saves Jack's teacher, Mrs. Harris. He also stops some bullies.

Flash the hero dog, Jack and Sundar.
My favourite part of the book is
